Behind the Scenes: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (The Movie)
Did I tell you how excited I am for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World? Knowing that it will be amazing helps dull the pain caused by the recent Shadow of the Collossus movie announcement. Seriously, the Scott Pilgrim movie just keeps looking better.
I was already impressed with the casting, and then I learned (from the video above) that it's being directed and co-written by the amazing Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz).
The only thing that's disappointing: I move to Los Angeles, movie capital of the world, and when there is actually a movie that I'd want to be an extra in, they film it in Toronto. Oh well, I'll just keep watching these weekly video blogs and be grateful that at least one of my favorite franchises is getting the love and respect it deserves.
Update: Edgar Wright is updating his blog with daily photos from the set. Awesome!
