The previous versions of God of War are not available on Nintendo Switch. The most recent version of the game, God of War: Ragnarok is a PlayStation 4 exclusive. However, there are several God of War games that are available on Switch, including the God of War: Origins Collection, which includes God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. There are also several God of War games available on other consoles, including the God of War Collection, which includes God of War and God of War II, and the God of War III Remastered.
The long-awaited sequel to God of War is finally arriving this year, and fans are already eagerly anticipating its release. Here’s everything we know about God of War: Ragnarok so far.
First and foremost, God of War: Ragnarok will be available on Switch. While there was some initial confusion about whether or not the game would be coming to the platform, it was eventually confirmed that it would be released on Switch. As for the story, not much is known yet. We do know that the game will pick up after the events of God of War III, and will see Kratos and Atreus on a new adventure. We also know that Thor will play a major role in the story and that the game will be set in Norse mythology.
We don’t have too many details about the gameplay just yet, but we do know that it will be similar to the previous games in the series. We can expect to see the same third-person action-adventure gameplay, with a focus on combat and exploration.
If you’re wondering how to play on other devices, we prepared two interesting reviews about the game free on PS and Android.
