Hey there fellow gamers, have you been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 and wondering if you can save the woman trapped inside the Mind-Flayer pod? Well, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, the answer is no. Don’t despair just yet though, as there are still some interesting details about this part of the game that you won’t want to miss. So, let’s dive in and find out more about the fate of this mysterious woman.
The woman trapped in the Mind-Flayer pod in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a character named Shadowheart. She is encountered after the Nautiloid crash and landing on the beaches below. It’s recommended that you attempt to free her from the pod to improve your relationship with her, as she becomes part of your party. If you did try to save her, she will appreciate your efforts and it will help keep her happy.
If you’re trying to save the woman trapped inside the Mind-Flayer pod in Baldur’s Gate 3, there are a few options you can try, but unfortunately, none of them seem to work. Here are the options available:
It’s disappointing to know that all options fail to unlock the pod, but don’t worry, this is part of the story, and you’ll meet her again shortly after leaving the Nautiloid and landing on the beach.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll need to make your way off the Nautiloid ship in order to complete the prologue quest, Escape the Nautiloid. Before leaving, take a moment to explore the starting room and interact with the Nursery pod to trigger some dialogue and an Investigation check. Head up the stairs to loot some chests and continue west to leave the room. In the next room, use the Neural Apparatus to move the elevator and interact with Myrnath to begin a conversation. Fight your way through Imps and flames, jump across a gap, and continue to move west to meet Lae’zel. After speaking with her, continue moving east and fight through Imps and dragons to reach the helm of the ship. Once there, interact with the console to connect the transponder and complete the quest. Along the way, you’ll encounter various enemies and obstacles, including a tough battle with Commander Zhalk, and have the opportunity to save a woman trapped inside a Mind-Flayer pod, but ultimately you’ll need to make your way to the helm to escape the Nautiloid.
If you’re looking to meet Shadowheart again in Baldur’s Gate 3, head to the entrance of the Overgrown Ruins (Abandoned Ruins) after completing the prologue. You’ll find her there bashing against an ornate door. It’s worth saving Shadowheart if you want to develop a relationship with her as she is one of the companions in the game. Remember that you can only have four companions at once, so choose wisely. Additionally, the romancing feature is not currently available in early access, but you can flirt with each companion during a party after completing the quest “Rescue the Druid Halsin.”
While it’s impossible to save Shadowheart from the Mind-Flayer pod in the Nautiloid, players shouldn’t worry as they will meet her again later in the game. As a companion, Shadowheart brings her own backstory and unique characteristics to the game. Players will be able to flirt with her and even romance her once the full version is released. Nautiloid is a ship that players will encounter early in the game, and they will need to find a way off the ship by battling enemies, looting chests, and solving puzzles. The ship is full of dangerous enemies and obstacles, but players will also find useful items and equipment to help them survive. Overall, Baldur’s Gate 3 is an exciting game that offers a thrilling adventure for players to embark on, filled with interesting characters and challenging quests.
