How to Get Diablo 4 Beta

There has been a lot of excitement after the Diablo 4 Beta game release announcement. Gamers who have played Diablo 3 or Diablo 2: Resurrected know the amazing end-game systems and can’t wait to take on a better gaming experience.

Are you eager to find out when the Diablo 4 beta will be released? If so, you’re in for some good news – the early access period for the Diablo 4 beta is currently underway. If you don’t have a code to play yet, don’t fret, as the beta will be available for everyone to download next weekend. These beta weekends will offer players the opportunity to experience both the early and end-game content of Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Release Date

In February 2023, it was announced that Diablo 4 would be offering a couple of beta tests prior to its official release. The first beta weekend took place from 17th to 19th March 2023 and was exclusively available to players who pre-ordered the game. The second beta weekend will be open to all and will take place from 24th to 26th March 2023.

During the beta, players will have the opportunity to test out the game’s prologue and the first Act of Diablo 4 in their entirety. The level cap during the beta will be set at 25, which is a relatively generous limit. This beta testing period provides players with a chance to try out the game before it’s officially released and allows developers to gather feedback to improve the game’s overall performance and gameplay.

Blizzard confirmed that players to make the game pre-orders would access the Diablo 4 Beta earlier. This, however, doesn’t mean that players could only get their game copy through pre-order. These select gamers were the first to take on new adventures.

How To Get Into Diablo 4 Closed Beta

Players can participate in the Open Beta and Early Access weekends on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Those who had pre-purchased the game have had Early Access to the Open Beta from March 17 to 19, while the Open Beta will be available to everyone from March 24 to 26.

If a player has pre-purchased the digital version of Diablo IV for PC or directly from their Xbox or PlayStation, they will automatically be granted beta access and can download the separate beta client on their preferred platform for free. This process eliminates the need for a separate sign-up procedure to access the beta.

This round of testing focuses on end-game systems, including Nightmare Dungeons, Fields of Hatred, and Helltide. The closed beta test allows veteran Diablo players to try out the new game features and give honest feedback. However, the test will not reveal Lilith’s fate, as the Blizzard team wants to keep the story campaign details a surprise.

Before signing up for the test, Blizzard targeted experienced players who had spent a lot of time enjoying the end-game content in the previous Diablo game series. The bad news is that some players didn’t make a list since they hadn’t played the last games, such as Diablo 3 and Diablo 2: Resurrected.

Note: if you wish to maximize your chances of getting an invite, you must ensure that your account is set to receive Blizzard emails.

So, that is how one could get into the Diablo 4 Beta Test:

  1. Visit account.battle.net and click on your account information.
  2. Choose the Privacy & Communication option and select Communication Preferences.
  3. Ensure you enable the ‘News and Special Offers from Battle.net’ option. To enable, tick the adjacent checkbox, then save.

The above procedure didn’t guarantee that you would be accepted to the testers program, and Blizzard would send you an email when you become eligible. Also, as the testing has already begun, this is the time when scammers are on high alert.

The beta access comes directly from Blizzard, so one should beware of any website or email offering beta keys. Therefore, never give your password to anyone, or enter it on any site other than Blizzard’s official page. This is because scammers can easily use your information to steal your account. As you sign up for any future Blizzard test, ensure that the site you use is the official website.

Diablo 4: Can I Still Make It To Test Open Beta?

Based on news reports and online discussions, it appears that there is a mixed response to the Diablo 4 Beta game so far. While some players have praised the graphics, gameplay mechanics, and story, others have expressed disappointment with certain aspects of the game. It seems that the majority of people have developed controversial feelings regarding Diablo 4 during the Early Access Beta, with differing opinions on various elements of the game. Ultimately, the true reception of the game will be determined once it is officially released and the wider gaming community has had a chance to play it.

It’s important to note that the upcoming weekend (March 24-26) marks the Open Beta for Diablo 4, and everyone will be able to participate provided they have a Battle.net account. Those who wish to take part can still pre-load the game starting on March 22 at 9 AM PT/noon ET.

It’s great news for gamers who are on the fence about Diablo 4 as they will have the opportunity to try out the game and decide if it’s right for them during this trial period. No special invitation or access code is required for the Open Beta weekend. If players have already downloaded the Early Access beta client, there is no need to download it again, although an additional update may be required.
